Originally from southern California, Chris grew up in Portland, Oregon and came to Boston to pursue his photographic and artistic career. Soon after he began working commercially (through good fortune and good luck) graduating from The Art Institute of Boston with a BFA in photography. After graduating, Chris began working with a global image-providing studio photographing destination imagery around the world. As a photographer Chris is able to deliver his unique perspective and creative vision through a decade of global experience.
On top of his commercial work, Chris is a passionate artist and pursues a creative life filled with making and seeing. As well as being a photographer in Boston Chris also is the founder of the Boston Photography Workshops, a studio dedicated to helping everyday people learn about photography and image making.
Lover of all things creative, photographic and food-related, Chris enjoys the company of good friends and loved ones.
